To put it in a simple way, web templates are nothing but readymade web-pages that can be used to create websites in seconds! How you ask? Web templates act as html coded dummy web pages that contain model content. Now these templates can be edited with ease (to add content, graphics, logo, pictures etc) to create professional web pages in less time
Now the next possible question that arises is as how to edit the web templates; isn't it? That's simple! Most web templates are editable and can be edited using popular html editors like FrontPage, DreamWeaver, GoLive and Photoshop. These html editors are easy to use and have a friendly interface. You need not be a pro to use them. Anyway in case anyone finds the editing part difficult they can always go for template customization services that are provided by most web template providers.

What exactly is Javascript?
Javascript is a programming language that is used to make web pages interactive. It runs on your visitor's computer and so does not require constant downloads from your web site.To add JavaScript to a Web page, all you have to do is embed JavaScript code in an HTML file. Below the line in which you embed the JavaScript code, you can reference, or call, that JavaScript code in response to an event handler or an HTML link. You have two choices when it comes to embedding JavaScript code in an HTML file: You can use the tags to include JavaScript code directly into an HTML file.
CSS
It stands for Cascading Style Sheet. Style sheet refers to the document itself. Style sheets have been used for document design for years. They are the technical specifications for a layout, whether print or online. Print designers use style sheets to insure that their designs are printed exactly to specifications. A style sheet for a Web page serves the same purpose, but with the added functionality of also telling the viewing engine (the Web browser) how to render the document being viewed. Cascading Style Sheets allow for flexible formatting of a page. They should be used instead of tables for non-tabular content whenever possible, because they can be manipulated by the reader or overridden by an author if your css is embedded in another page via a template.

Flash
Flash manipulates vector and raster graphics to provide animation of text, drawings, and still images. It supports bidirectional streaming of audio and video, and it can capture user input via mouse, keyboard, microphone, and camera. Flash contains an object-oriented language called ActionScript and supports automation via the Javascript Flash language (JFSL). Flash content may be displayed on various computer systems and devices, using Adobe Flash Player, which is available free of charge for common web browsers, some mobile phones and a few other electronic devices (using Flash Lite). Some users feel that Flash enriches their web experience, while others find the extensive use of Flash animation, particularly in advertising, intrusive and annoying, giving rise to a cottage industry that specializes in blocking Flash content. Flash has also been criticized for adversely affecting the usability of web pages..

The best tool which is used by the majority of professional web designers is Adobe Dreamweaver. This application is a WYSIWYG editor which means that it shows you the webpage as you create it. Unfortunately, it does cost quite a bit and has a steeper learning curve than most of the other editors. If you want a free editor to start off, you can use CoffeeCup HTML Editor or PageBreeze which are both completely free and offer a decent amount of featured to help you work more efficiently.

Enter the following information in the connection bar:
- Address/Host Name: this will be your domain name or IP address. Some programs may require you to enter http://, but most do not.
- User/Username: this is the "username" that was issued to you when you signed up with your Web host
- Password: this is the "password" that was issued to you when you signed up with your Web host.
- Port: the default port number for FTP is 21. For Most FTP programs you will not need to add this information. It will use port 21 by default.

HTML5 Canvass
The canvas element is part of HTML5 and allows for dynamic, scriptable rendering of 2D shapes and bitmap images. It is a low level, procedural model that updates a bitmap and does not have a built-in scene graph. click on the link to show what I mean (IE Browswers are not supported)
